Talking about an evolution

Now that Dennis doesn’t live with us, the food situation is evolving Darwinistically into various specializations. I don’t have to hide food to prevent him from eating it, which does wonders for my kitchen. When it came to food, he was the biggest mooch. Hiding my own food meant I would forget what I had, so I would end up with ten things of rice. Texas Chris was vegetarian, so he had his own stuff. Having Michael as a roommate means that I never have to worry that my food gets eaten, and vice versa. He’s violently allergic to anything with peppers, and I’m violently allergic to crustaceans. Since everything I cook involves peppers, and everything he cooks involves ocean bits, we avoid opposing leftovers. We share snack stuff and milk, which is nice. Bryan only eats takeout Chinese food, so he’s never even been part of the food equation. Now I just have to figure out how to subtract ice cream and chocolate from the diet.
