Bear is assuming the lease

She wants the loft, as the country is obviously going to the dogs.

HeeHee,Haa Haa, HuuHuu, I have a Canadian boyfriend. I'm going to make him take me with him, get married, and teach exclusively in French. I'll sell the house in Texas, buy a fabulous warehouse in Montreal, and use my amazing carpentry skills to build lofts for expatriated bloggers. They just have to submit to a very detailed physical examination.

I'm in.

All I'll need is a room with space enough for me, my bed, a chest, my Mac and my vidcam. And a high-speed data line of some sort. I'll be working on numerous documentaries about the plights of the American Blogger Expatriates (and stories of those we left behind who'll now reside at Gitmo... allegedly...) and be generally covering the downfall of America from a Quebecois point-of-view. Maybe I'll get a job as a freelancer with the CBC news service.

(And I'll also probably need to be producing a little video porn here and there on the side to pay the bills. Hope that's not an issue.)

Hmmm... there's a story here I need to write. :-)

Actually, this ties in with Matt and Steven's idea of making a gay hub. They run the prostitution ring, and I run the gay mechanic shop. We'll also have a shirtless car wash thing.

Umm, can you schedule me an interview for the prostitution thingy?

Posted by: homer at November 3, 2004 10:04 PM

Honey, if I were you I'd run for the border with that cutie of yours and never look back. Well, maybe you could check back four years from now. But how's a Texan going to stand Canadian winters??

Me 2 on the prostitution thingy. I already took the Canadian online skilled worker test for immigrants and failed by 14 points. I guess Canada don't need cleaning people and prostitution is the only other thing that I am skilled at. LOL God help me.

Scored 67 on the test -- the minimum.

Wow. Tough test. Maybe I should brush up on my awful French first.

Posted by: palochi at November 3, 2004 11:47 PM

I'll sign up but I need space...got lotsa furniture, cd's, and books to haul. I could do office work.

And Palochi - I *swore* you posted "...a chest, my Mac and my vicodan!"

And just where is this skilled worker test?

Posted by: Lee at November 4, 2004 12:18 AM

Do I have to speak french?

Posted by: Greg at November 4, 2004 12:31 AM

Never mind - found the test. Passed but barely.

Posted by: Lee at November 4, 2004 12:31 AM

My Vicodan doesn't take up much space.

My Xanax, on the other hand...

Posted by: palochi at November 4, 2004 12:26 PM

Is there a sign-up sheet somewhere? I already parle pretty good francais, so that should be a plus, non?

Posted by: Hugo at November 4, 2004 01:28 PM

Run Galicious, run. At least one of us will make it out. And D, take good care of our baby. (See you for Black and Blue!)

Posted by: Ron at November 4, 2004 02:22 PM

*bends over for examination*

Be gentle.

Fearful of Montreal winters? Your french needs polishing? Screw it -- mild, friendly Vancouver is where it's at. I'll consider relocating back home tomorrow for the right man : ) Now accepting applications and pictures (preferably naked).

Posted by: jeff at November 5, 2004 07:00 AM

(gets out digital camera and pen)

Posted by: palochi at November 5, 2004 11:20 AM

But what about your students?? Don't forget them! Can you hammer together a big assed boarding school and rescue them too?? No child left behind!

Posted by: Mr. HellsKitchen at November 6, 2004 04:23 PM

Yes, Matt and I are also taking applications for the gay whore house.

Posted by: steven at November 6, 2004 10:52 PM

I don't take up much space, and I'm a good cook. I make kick ass enchiladas.
