It's 78 degrees F

My coat is packed up in the suitcase, I just had coffee on the lanai. I'm going down to meet friends at the beach in Waikiki. Someone please remind me why I teach in a city that has winters.

Because places that are 78 degrees in February don't have the chance of snow days.

Besides, you'd get bored with gorgeous weather all the time. Since you have to live with snow and ice, you appreciate things like this more. Yeah, that's it. ;)

Because there are no places without winter in the U.S. that have as many smart, interesting people as NYC.

Oh yes. I keep forgetting the culture, the amazing friends, and that whole boyfriend thing.

But, you know, it would be cool if all of that just MOVED here.

I'm in New York, it's just cold, simply annoyingly cold. Shiveer. I need a cute boy.

Because New York is home to Superman, Batman and Spiderman...
