The Wiki-WIki Bus
It is just so difficult to blog in between beach sessions, drinking, and small road trips. I'd say that I was exhausted, but I'm just merely lazy.
The morning of my flight to O'ahu was a bit of a mess, entirely my fault. Derrick and I woke up, had a lazy breakfast, even watched some cartoons. My flight was departing at 12:15, so leaving the house around 9:30 should have given us plenty of time. We forgot that the L train wasn't running the entire path, plus simply wasn't running quickly. I missed the 10:15 train to Newark, which gave me the 11:07, which gets NEAR the airport at 11:30. I finally arrived at the ticket counter at 11:59.
Visions of not having my luggage danced through my head, but I really didn't care. If I had to sit on the beach in just my boxers with everything falling out, I was going to be fine with that. I had plenty of room on the flight, since I was in an emergency exit row. Some bubblehead wanted me to switch seats so he could sit next to his girlfriend in the emergency exit row.
Everyone should know I'm fine with these heterosexual relationships, but don't expect to get special treatment. I made the breeding pair move to his cramped row while I was joined by a nice older nurse lady. We mocked the stupid couple.
I arrived with nary a bump in Honolulu and my bag spun past me on the baggage carousel. I don't want to jinx my travel karma, but Delta managed to get my luggage onto a plane in less than fifteen minutes. I'm just so proud of them!
Went to a nice little party thrown by a friend of David. I vaguely recall it was very nice, although I was extremely sleepy. Go figure. Met the production coordinator of LOST, and he leaked all sorts of juicy tidbits about the plot. Others leaked the fact that one of the guys from the show frequents a local gay bar. I'm just hoping to bump into him. Repeatedly.

It's -2C here, right now. I'm trying not to punch my computer while reading your blog. I think this is why people on vacation don't post on their blogs -- because they know we'll all end up hating them. ;)

I recall reading in Emily Post's Blogger Etiquette that "One should not blog from a warm, tropical location while readers are in cold, snowy locations."
This is a very serious breach of etiquette and you will be reprimanded (unless you supply the dish about Lost!).
