Fixed it myself, no thanks to you know who
It's not perfect, but it's better. It took me five times to remove, reinstall, reset, and repaste things, but I have a semi-functioning blog. The search works, the links work, even the archives appear again. Most of all, the entry/input panel finally functions again. I wish I could figure out how to space out the right hand columns divisions, but that will have to wait for Santa.
Since I did this myself, I plan on paying myself $100, fixing some shelves, buying some alcohol, making some dinner, and finishing off with my own erotic massage with a happy ending.

Good for you! I'd have offered to help (happy ending optional) if I had the first idea what to do, but I always have to get outside help with any techie stuff myself.

Your main front page template is still hosed. (Although, the comment section is fine.) It's not pulling the css formating (fonts, etc.). I'm getting lotsa Times Roman.

congrats G. i feel the pain you've been having. my entire .nu domain went offline this past weekend due to my fucktard registrar's ineptitude. turns out they won't be dealing with the .nu domain so if i want to keep it, i'd have to apply to transfer it somewhere else costing me more money and time. AND ... they didn't bother to tell me this until after i'd already paid them to renew it and it went offline. fucktards. i had to reg a new .org domain just to get things back online again. i'll likely keep it though i'm sure alot of folks will now de-link me for the trouble. and my stats start back from scratch. really does suck overall but what can ya do??
