New Year Resolution

I resolve to avoid patches of ice on highways.

I resolve to crash fewer Mercedes into guard rails on the way back from Canada.

I resolve to avoid watching that stupid Allstate commercial showing car collision after car collision, as it just twists my stomach.

Other than that, the vacation was great.

Was it a rental?

Poor Mercedes!

Sorry about the crash, but I gather you're unharmed. Assuming that's correct, then that's good. Your well-being is what matters!

Oh no you had a ding in the car! At least you're ok... and cars can be fixed.
Happy new year.

Was it THE Mercedes?

Ugh. At least you guys are alright. That's the most important thing.

You're safe and no one got hurt. That's a blessing.
I'd recommend a visit to your doctor for a quick checkup just in case.

Remind me to tell you and Jim+car vs Tractor Trailer Truck sometime. Did you know a car can bounce across two lanes of traffic?

Hang in there - the first few days are the worst.

It was THE Mercedes, courtesy of the aunt and uncle. Everyone is okay, but there was a lot of damage to the car.

Ice sucks. I was driving in Oregon once, very slowly, very cautiously, but came to a stoplight at the bottom of a hill. I carefully tapped the breaks...and of course the car started to spin and I ended up sliding backwards into the intersection. Fortunately, no one else was stupid enough to drive in that weather so I didn't get hit.

Sorry bout that dude. Glad to hear that you are OK. Hugs.

my new year's resolution is to get farther out into the world ... and not have any car crashes .. or rather .. not have anyone into my car's backside.

thank god we weren't the only people sliding around on wet or icy roads this holiday.
did you see ted's post: http://bible.gideonse.com/2006/01/sad-sad-turtle.html#links

The only reason we're not hurt is because G was able to keep his composure and control and keep us out of the way of other cars. No small feat, and he deserves much credit.

Either that, or I blacked out and don't really remember what happened.

OMG, I meant "brakes." Shit, I always have trouble with homonyms.
