I was also born in 1920, then died in 1989.
This is the creepiest thing.
I was reading JoeMyGod's entry on new drug names, and then read Homer's casually grim comment.
Social Security Death Index? I can find other people in American history with my name, as long as they are dead?
Grim AND fun! Like peanut butter and chocolate!

You should be able to find deceased relatives and friends on there- I use it a lot in my genealogy research.

Looks as though nobody with my name has ever died! Woo! I feel original.
One person with Steve's name did die back in 1971, but Steve's a lot older than I am (hem hem), so it only stands to reason...

I have found 8 dead me's.
I was suprised to find that many, as my surname is relatively rare.

No dead folk with my name -- yet.

That is a really creepy site.
I was born in 1883 and died in 1964. Creepy.

Oh, yeah! I've used that site numerous times tracking down relatives.
There's 3 listed with my nickname (Lee) and 5 with my full first name (Leon)
