Doggy Sittin'
Okay, I know somebody out there wants to do this. Derrick joins me on the Texas leg of this year's roadtrip Aug. 23rd - 27th. This older, but amazingly well behaved older lady needs someone to hang with her a few times a day.
We need someone either to stay in our house, or we would bring her over to your place. Either way, we will figure out a nice reward. Who is interested? Who can say no to her super cute face?
Update: Sam of Subway Subversive is going to take care of Bear.

With a small detour to the Midwest, I'd be deliriously happy to watch her. I've wanted a dog to visit for a few weeks now.

Hurray for Sam!
Marc and I had a thoughtful discussion about this, back when you first posted the request. We decided that it would be too much to try to fit Bear in with our three dogs. Either Bear would be too upset or our dogs would or both. Whatever the outcome, we didn't foresee canine happiness (and then there's the potential house damage!).
I'm glad you found someone to care for Bear while you're away!
