велосипедЬ

Can everyone read this title? It's 'bike' in Russian.

Nothing makes me feel more alive than not having to think of school. I mean, yes, I have to think of school, as I must move all those boxes back out of my place on Tuesday into my new school, plus school begins in about two weeks. Can we stop talking about school?

This weekend, I did whatever I had the energy to do, which usually excluded things past midnight. Friday I went to hang with the studs of Geek Night, with a promised appearance afterwards at Jerry's housewarming party for his new Barcelona friend. I had a great time watching things blow up on the big screen at Michael's place, but did not have the energy to then go to Jerry's party. I did my standard "I'm a big pussy" text message and went home to bed.

Saturday, I made gravy for the second time in my life. I'll write about that exciting event tomorrow while naked.

I also got my bike cleaned up, so I took a ride on my bike for the first time in over a year, and the first time ever in Manhattan. New York does have an amazing bike path on the west side of the island, although finding an entrance is a bit difficult up here in Harlem. Many hot guys were out, so I almost crashed multiple times.

I joined up with the Farmboys, JoeMyGod, and Cynically Optimistic Jeff. The Farmboys, being from the farm, smuggled in FOUR bottles of white wine by transferring them to empty Sprite bottles. Clever, clever Farmboys. Too bad I had just biked miles and began drinking white wine....

We parked ourselves near the disco skating area and proceeded to get our drUNK on. We had a great time, and other sexy men joined us. Someone had the bright idea of playing drunken tackle frisbee. I'm not sure if I tackled Jeff or the other way around, but I totally WHUPPED him, and he's a big un! I then had my wrestling butt totally kicked by one of the Farmboys, and we won't discuss that, as he is smaller than me (and the videos taken by other bloggers totally show that I LET him win, just to not bruise his ego. Yeah, that's it). Again, I was supposed to go out that evening to watch The Descent with friends, but was unable to muster consciousness past 8:30. I did my standard "I'm a big pussy" text message and went to bed.

Today I again went for another bike ride, as I was so stiff this morning that I could barely move. Get back on the horse, and all that. My butt bones are so sore, and I am going to buy a better bike seat. I went riding with my new friend Fuzzy Lubbock Chad II. We discussed boyfriends (his is also earning a doctorate), escaping from Texas, and sex in Texas. There's a reason sodomy laws of Texas go to the Supreme Court, don't you know.

I think that is enough for a weekend.

Well I always say, if you're gonna be a pussy, you should be a big one. Unfortunately that makes me thaink of Walt Whitman, as in "I am vast, I contain multitudes.", which seems unfair.

Wrestling in public with other men is something none of my teachers ever did. Sigh.

I also get a bit of soreness on my butt bone(s?) after a ride to 'n' from the gym.

Do you have a different perspective when you blog while naked? Maybe I oughta try it 'n' hope my mother doesn't knock down the door seein' me naked, typing while havin' mo town music playin'. But that'd be another thing to blog about.

Sore butt bones are nothing a good massage and a Body Geometry saddle can't fix, in my experience!

That was four MAGNUMS of white wine. I can't believe I didn't hurl. Kinda proud of that. The rest, not so much.

The bike path along the West Side highway is quite spectacular. I'm going to get around to posting the (crappy) camera phone pics I took of my bike trips one of these days.

Around Harlem I'd say the best places to get onto it are where it detours around Fairway (from 125th to 135th). I recommend going North!
