Pollination

pollen1.jpg
All of my plans for the weekend were stalled by the release of spring pollen. It started with a drippy nose, but now has spread to a yarky cough, sore throat, and exploding skull. I slept about three hours Saturday night, so my Sunday has been a bit on the zombie style.

It was a terrific day outside, no matter what. My body will adapt, and then I'll be all giddy about all the nice weather.

There's been a thick layer of dust accumulating on my dashboard over the last month, and if you look closely it's bright yellow: pure pollen!

Yarky? I love that word. Can I steal it?

I wish plants would just have sex like everyone else. Ermm...not that I'm having sex. I just mean, it would be so much easier on my sinuses if flowers just got it on.

G-

What helps for me: Zyrtec, Nasacort AQ, and getting back to my allergist for my series of shots. If you want his information give me a bell-he saved my life last year and I am regretting not getting back to him for my maintenance.
