Bjork and Sugar Cubes

When I was a little kid, I loved going to my dad's construction company's office. They had a coffee area, and I discovered a little box of white cubes right next to the coffee pot.

Sugar cubes. Delicious, geometrically wonderful sugar cubes. I can still remember the first time I stuck one on my tongue- the amazing sensation of it all angular, unyielding and with the first trace of sweet, then after a few seconds, the collapse and sugar rush cresting over my tastebuds.

Twenty sugar cubes later, I don't remember much, except people trying to peel me off the ceiling with a stick.

Decades later, I'm the guy who makes sure the coffee area stays stocked. I use Splenda, but I bought a box of Domino sugar cubes. Today, I stuck one of the cubes on my tongue. Absolutely amazing.

Oh yeah. Bjork's new album kicks ass too.

I love a sugar cubes uniformity, and I can't seem to find them easily int his city. In Iceland they place the sugar cube on their tongue, and then sip the coffee.

As a child I often thought of them as quite the treat, like pure good, even if my dentists thought of them as distillate of evil.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen any sugar cubes in quite a while. Not that I need to be eating sugar cubes, but I always did like the feel and taste of them. Thanks for the flashback! :)

I don't remember the last time I saw a sugar cube, much less tasted one. Sounds divine.

Sugarcubes make me very happy.

And Splenda is nasty.

Wasn't such a big Sugar Cubes fan... Did see them once, though, on a bill with The Cure, Love & Rockets and the Pogues :)

Bjork's new album *does* kick ass... Saw her at the Apollo, wher she blew me away.

My late friend Steven would not use anything other than Domino's Dots in his tea. I had forgotten about the sensation and the taste of sugar cubes. So, who had to scrape you off the ceiling of the teachers lounge?

I use sugarcubes for parties but Splenda for my own beverages *blushes at Foxy*.

Yes, Bjork's new CD rocks, but heck, she does anyway in my book.
