Dropping the ball

Pushing up the daisies.jpg

For the first time in five years, I really am having a teacher's proper summer vacation, so I'm really sorry about the dearth of entries. Every summer until now had something, either university classes, my mom dying, or last year's horrifying summer school, so I've really just focused on chilling out and traveling. I went to New Hope with my friends John and David (Click here for photos on my Flickr page), where I got to slow the pace even further.

I read Harry Potter and about three other books so far. I've worked on my tan, gone to the gym, and hung out with friends.

Oh, and I also switched to a new, new job. Still in the Board of Ed, but an entirely new direction. I'm not leaving teaching, but it is still a new direction.

I wasn't aware that "gogo boy" was considered "education."

"Proper" summer vacation. Dearth of posts! Whatever. ;-)

I like how the flowers match the lenses in your shades. That's hot.

Ahaha, always good to see you blog, and accompanied with a self-portrait! :-)

Question: What is the "New Hope" of which you speak?

Glad to hear you're having a real vacation. Like everyone else, I am also curious as hell as to what you are going to be doing when you go back to work. In the mean time, be as lazy as possible! One of these days I'm going to get to have a lazy summer again.
