That is awesome. I am so using that. I hate the smell of popcorn, and I hate getting the kernels stuck in my teeth. I do like the taste, though. Anyway, Rex regularly threatens me with filling the house with popcorn smell. I'll show him!!!

Okay, popcorn has never been the first choice in snacks, except as a vehicle for butter. Still, that is just creepy. I keep envisioning men with movie topping (no joke, that is what they call the fake butter)streaked across their faces, going down into the popcorn mines every day until they are disabled by "popcorn lung", and then are forced to go back to their homes in Appalachia and sit on the porch, talking about their days of bringing up tons of kernels that helped fuel the movie theaters that made this nation great.

Grass should feed beef, not corn! That's what's wrong with most industrialized beef in this country!

what intelligent human still eats microwave popcorn...it smells so foul and fake. We've been making our popcorn in the wok for years...not butter thank you, just a bit o salt and garlic

Why are all the bad things in the world always met with a political division - with someone to blame? There is a wide separation of beliefs from coast to coast - and wide involvement in the food industry across the nation.

G-d. Anything and everything will kill you. Just enjoy it while you can.

By the way, any good microbrew and/or brew pub beer also contains diacetyl (which has a vaguely butterscotchy flavor). So I'm assuming you could also get beer lung if you drink a lot of decent beer.

But if you stick to Miller Lite, Bud, or Schlitz you should be fine, as there's no flavor at all in those. :)
