One week to San Francisco and Oregon
Being a math nerd has perks. Perks, I tell you!
I'm being sent to San Francisco for a math conference. The nerds shall swarm and overwhelm the city with their numbers. Exponential numbers, even.
The conference is from Feb 13-15, but my mid-winter break is the following week, so I shall hug the west coast. I've rented a car, and I'll drive up to Yachats, Oregon to meet Last Debate Andy, who fled the city some time ago. We'll be staying at the Shamrock Lodgettes, where we will mock the people there for Valentine's Day, explore tidal pools, and drink hot cocoa.
On my way back to SF, I'm going to drive along the coastal highway, go to Redwoods National Park, and maybe even brag at Fort Bragg. SF for the remaining days, head home on the 22nd.
Much merriment will ensue.
