Sketch
Derrick's sister is visiting, so I haven't been able to really start repairs/improvements to the new apartment. I have done measurements and this sketch so Derrick could decide which walls he wants me to paint.

That hallway is 26 feet LONG. 12 foot ceilings are great, but are a design challenge for someone like me who is design challenged. My project over the next few days is to replace all the glass in the main bedroom's french doors. I'll do a photo log.

Our ceilings about 12 ft tall, we think, but ours have a picture rail about a foot from the top, so the colored paint only goes up to there. It ended up looking ok. I hope you have a really tall ladder!

Just paint everything beige and get it over with. :)

Having decent digs is important. And moving is most stressful. Take care and go easy on your self/selves.
Design Challenges? I'd be challenged enough getting stuff moved in, down that hallway. Paint the hallway last. The bed, the dresser, the chaise lounge, the the something will scrape on the way in.
Love your blog. Cheers.

i remembered thinking in the video you shot, "that is ONE longass hallway." 26 FEET LONG? how wide is it? i'm assuming 3' because of the (duh) 3' on the floorplan...but still, that's not ALL that wide. feels like you would get claustrophobic in it.
